We’ll pick you up from your hotel to begin our Bishkek city tour. First, we’ll visit Osh Bazaar. The legendary Osh Bazaar is an open-air market where you’ll immerse yourself in the traditional shopping culture of the Kyrgyz people. It’s the perfect place to buy souvenirs, dried fruits, national delicacies, and more.
Victory Square
The square honors the Second World War with monuments and an eternal flame. Your guide will share a brief history of the war and its impact on Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Abdylas Maldybayev
We will visit the Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theater, an old and beautiful building that showcases the charming Soviet architecture. From there, you will make your way to Oak Park, where you can learn more about other monuments and take a glance at the fancy Art Gallery.
Ala-Too Square
Ala Too Square is the main square of the city, home to the largest flagpole and the sentinels. Take a stroll around the square to see the historical museum, Manas hero monument, and the White House. Explore the charming “Erkindik” or “Freedom” boulevard, and don’t miss the old railway station, a fine example of early 20th-century Soviet architecture.
Kyrgyz State Philharmonic Hall
The Kyrgyz State Philharmonic Hall is another beautiful place to visit, showcasing the fascinating architectural style of the Mayor’s office, International University, and the Philharmony itself. It’s a must-see for capturing the beauty and uniqueness of these buildings.
