Car Rental Insurance
We aim to provide a secure and worry-free experience while renting our vehicles. Here’s everything you need to know about our insurance coverage and policies:
Full Coverage Insurance
Our vehicles come with full coverage insurance and a deductible of $300–$600 USD per incident, depending on the car model. This means you are responsible only for damages up to the deductible amount.
Third-Party Liability
Our insurance includes:
- Up to 1,000,000 KGS for third-party liability in the event of an accident.
- Up to 300,000 KGS for each individual victim.
When Insurance Becomes Invalid
Insurance coverage will not apply if:
- Alcohol is detected in the driver’s blood (strict 0.0 limit).
- Speed limits are exceeded (60 km/h in towns and 100 km/h on highways).
- Solid double lines are crossed, or a red light is run.
- The vehicle is driven in restricted areas or on prohibited roads.
What to Do in Case of an Accident
If an accident occurs, please follow these steps:
- Do not move the vehicle.
- Contact us immediately.
- Call traffic police, record witness details, and obtain a police report—this is required even for minor damages (e.g., hitting a rock).
- Take photos and videos of the vehicle and accident site from multiple angles.
- Be prepared to cover any government fines, towing costs, or property damage expenses resulting from the incident.
What Insurance Doesn’t Cover
Insurance excludes damages caused by:
- Negligence, such as using the wrong fuel, ignoring warning lights, or driving in restricted areas.
- Failing to check and maintain vehicle essentials like oil, coolant, or tire pressure (keep tires at 2.5 bars).
- Violating restricted road rules, which may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
- Any breakdowns or damages due to negligence—full recovery costs will be charged to the renter.
Liability for Total Loss
In case of total vehicle destruction:
- You will be liable to pay 10% of the car’s value.
- You will also be held responsible for any damage or loss caused by actions not covered by insurance (e.g., drunk driving, theft by the renter, or unauthorized transfer to third parties).
Liability Beyond Insurance
You are responsible for any damages to third parties (life, health, or property) that exceed the limits of the insurance coverage.
Passenger and Luggage Responsibility
You are responsible for the safety of yourself, your passengers, and any personal belongings during the rental period.
Standard Fees for Non-Insured Events
- Lost vehicle registration: $200 USD
- Lost key: $60–$90 USD per key
- Tire damage: $70–$100 USD per tire
- Lost or stolen license plate: $60 USD per plate
- Light damages (e.g., bumper scratches): Typically $50–$100
