You can enjoy a leisurely walk along the river or opt for a hike up the mountains for a breathtaking view of the valley.

After our time at Ala Archa, we’ll head back to Bishkek for lunch. Following lunch, we’ll embark on a tour of Bishkek, exploring landmarks such as the Manas, Kurmanjan Datka, and Lenin statues, Oak Park, the Opera and Ballet Theater, Victory Square, and significant government buildings like the Parliament and the White House.

To conclude our day, we’ll have dinner at a local restaurant.

You can explore a small museum there to learn about the ancient city and see Balbals, which are old stone grave markers.

Then, we’ll continue to Boz-Salkyn gorge for a hike up to Shatyly viewpoint, where we’ll catch a breathtaking sunset and admire the stunning view of Issyk-Kul lake. The hike will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. After enjoying the scenery, we’ll return to Bokonbaev village for dinner and either stay overnight in a yurt camp or a guesthouse.

Next, we’ll travel to Barskoon waterfalls for a short hike to one of the waterfalls, take photos, and then head to Karakol city. If time allows, we’ll stop at Djety-Oguz (Seven Oxes Red Rocks) on the way. In Karakol, we’ll have dinner at a traditional restaurant and stay overnight.

Later, we’ll return to Karakol for lunch. Then, we’ll take a quick tour of Karakol, visiting landmarks like explorer Prjevalsky’s memorial, a Dungan mosque, and a Russian Orthodox church.

Afterward, we’ll visit a Dungan family for a traditional food show and dinner. The Dungans are Chinese Muslims who migrated from China in the 1800s. We’ll stay overnight in Karakol.
