Itinerary

Day 1. Bishkek - Burana tower - Ak Sai canyon - Bokonbaevo village(by Issyk Kul lake)

Morning pick-up from Bishkek.

Drive to visit the Burana Tower, an ancient site from the 11th century. Explore the small museum and see stone statues called balbals.

Have lunch on the way.

Stop at Ak-Sai Canyons on the south shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Enjoy a short hike to the viewpoint with stunning views of the canyon, lake, and mountains.

Arrive at Bokonbaevo village for dinner and an overnight stay in a guesthouse or yurt camp.

Total Drive: 300 km / 5 hours.
Meals: Lunch & Dinner.
Accommodation: Guesthouse/Yurt camp

Day 2. Bokonbaevo - Eagle hunting show - Skazka canyon - Barskoon waterfall - Jeti Oguz Rocks - Karakol town

After breakfast, meet a local eagle hunter and watch a live demonstration of hunting skills with golden eagles.

Drive to Skazka Canyon to walk among its colorful and unique rock formations.

Head to Barskoon Gorge for a short walk to see a frozen waterfall, followed by a visit to the Jeti Oguz Red Rocks. Enjoy a hike to a viewpoint with amazing views of the rocks, river, and forested mountains.

End the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Karakol.

Day 3. Karakol - Hot Springs in Cholpon Ata - Museum of Petroglyphs - Bishkek

Drive to Cholpon Ata for a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs.

Visit the Petroglyph Museum, an open-air site with ancient rock drawings, stone circles, and statues from 2,000 BCE to the 4th century AD.

Have lunch along the way, then drive back to Bishkek for a final dinner and drop-off at your chosen location in the city.
