Explore the wild side of Kyrgyzstan on this 10-day small group adventure, combining mountain hiking, alpine lakes and nomadic culture. Hike through forests to the Altyn Arashan valley and its natural hot springs, then trek to remote Kel Suu Lake near the Chinese border, one of the least-visited lakes in Central Asia.
Along the way, you’ll stay in traditional yurt camps at Son Kul and Issyk Kul, ride horses along Son Kul Lake and watch a golden eagle hunting demonstration. You’ll also discover the colorful Skazka and Ak Sai canyons, the red rocks of Jeti Oguz, and learn traditional felt-making in Kochkor.
