Itinerary

Day 1. Airport - Bishkek city - City Tour

Morning pick up from the airport or place we agreed beforehand in Bishkek city.

Transfer to hotel. After some rest we’ll do a city tour of Bishkek, visiting landmarks like the Manas, Kurmanjan Datka, and Lenin statues, Oak Park, the Opera and Ballet Theater, Victory Square, and important government buildings such as the Parliament and the White House.

We’ll finish our day with dinner at a local traditional restaurant.

Day 2. Bishkek - Burana Tower - Chon-Kemin valley

After breakfast, we’ll start our journey to visit the Burana Tower. This tower, along with grave markers, ancient earthworks, and the remains of a castle and three mausoleums.

After that, we’ll travel to the Chon-Kemin valley, where we’ll enjoy lunch at a guesthouse.

Later, we’ll go horseback riding and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It is a unique experience to horseback riding around incredible views and nature.

After, we’ll drive back to Bishkek for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3. Chon-Kemin - Skazka Canyon - Jeti-Oguz Red Rocks - Karakol

Today, we’ll head out to Fairy Tale canyon which is located on the north shore of Issyk Kul Lake. Once there, we’ll take a short hike, take some stunning photos, enjoy the views. Also, we’ll stop at the shore of Issyk-Kul lake.

Then, we’ll continue to the Jeti-Oguz valley. Once there, we’ll be greeted by the stunning views of the Seven Bulls Rocks and the Broken Heart. We’ll take some photos and go on a short walk near the Red Rocks.

Day 4. Karakol - Grigoriev and Semenovka gorges - Bishkek

After breakfast, we’ll head to Bishkek city. On our way, we’ll visit the Grigorievskoe Gorge and Semenovka gorges, renowned as one of the most famous attractions in the Issyk Kul region.

You’ll have the opportunity to take a walk, immerse yourself in the wild nature surrounding you, and enjoy a relaxing time in this beautiful place.

Once in Bishkek, we’ll check-in to our hotel, have dinner at a traditional Kyrgyz restaurant, and stay overnight.

Day 5. Bishkek - Airport
After breakfast, we’ll meet at the hotel and then head to the airport. It’s time to say goodbye, and we hope to see you again soon!

Clothes & Equipment

You can bring everything you need. Remember that in the summer, Bishkek can get as hot as 40 degrees Celsius, and it can be as cold as 5 degrees Celsius in the mountains. Be ready for sudden changes in the weather.

Recommended:

  • Rain-coat
  • Sweater/fleece
  • Hat (remember – the sun can be violent)
  • Sun-screen cream (30 or higher)
  • Insect repellent (skin + clothes)
  • Sunglasses
  • A smaller backpack, except for your normal suitcase.
