Electronic Visas for Kyrgyzstan
The E-Visa System offers a convenient way to get a tourist or business visa for those looking to visit Kyrgyzstan for business or tourism for a period of up to 90 days by Internet, without applying to diplomatic representatives and consulates. Companies in Kyrgyzstan can also use this system to invite people from other countries for short business trips or tourism.
These short-term visas are given for 90 days and can’t be extended while you’re in Kyrgyzstan.
For obtaining e-visa, need to apply at www.evisa.e-gov.kg/ entering your contact details, information about your traveling to Kyrgyzstan, upload photo and a scan of your passport. You can pay with a Visa or MasterCard. The consideration period is 3 days. Notification of confirmation or rejection with special QR-code will be sent to e-mail.

Registration in Kyrgyzstan
Citizens from certain countries are required to register at local police stations (OVIR/OVD) within 5 days of their arrival, including weekends and the arrival date. Registration can be arranged as a separate service. Generally, citizens of visa-required countries entering Kyrgyzstan must register within 5 days of arrival. Failure to register incurs a fine of 10,000 som, and departure may be blocked until the fine is paid, potentially leading to missed flights and additional expenses.
Uzbekistan is a notable exception; although citizens do not need a visa, they are required to register.
